Abdulkabir Adisa Aliu— Group Chariman/Chief Executive Officer

Abdulkabir is the pioneer Group Chief Executive Officer and a founding member of Matrix Group. He leads the organisation’s strategic direction and oversees performance across the group. Under his stewardship, Matrix was named one of Nigeria’s Top 100 businesses in 2014.

A results-driven professional in business development, Abdulkabir brings broad expertise spanning Engineering, Finance, Trading, and Logistics. He has over a decade of experience working with globally recognized oil & gas companies and leading banks in Nigeria.

A graduate of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Abdulkabir regularly updates his skills through international training programs and industry workshops to keep Matrix aligned with global standards and best practices.

Olajide Aogo — Managing Director

Olajide (Jide) Aogo oversees the day-to-day operations of Matrix Fertilizer Limited, ensuring the business runs successfully and aligns with the Group’s strategic goals. He is responsible for implementing efficient work processes and management systems that drive superior performance and compliance across the company.

Jide is an engineering graduate registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). He brings experience in production engineering, banking, project management, business development, and operations management.

Aisha Said-Aliu — Executive Director, Commercial

Aisha is responsible for maintaining a consistent growth trajectory for Matrix Fertilizer Limited in alignment with the Matrix Group business model. She leads the Group’s trading activities and is charged with establishing strategic partnerships and alliances, overseeing asset acquisition, and managing commercial risk.

Aisha holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has completed courses in strategy, entrepreneurship, and commodity trading. Prior to joining Matrix, she worked with Petrodel Resources Limited as a Business Developer and Oil Trader.

Kazeem Adegbite — Chief Finance Officer

Kazeem graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University with a Second Class Upper degree in Accounting and became an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2011. He began his career in the insurance and banking sectors, developing expertise in accounting, risk management, and corporate finance.

As Chief Finance Officer, Kazeem leads financial strategy and oversight for Matrix Group, managing tax, planning, treasury, accounting, and fiscal operations while ensuring strong controls and compliance.

Segun Adesola — Head, Business Intelligence & Customer Service

Segun leads customer service and business intelligence at Matrix Fertilizer Limited, overseeing processes related to customer acquisition, retention, and account management. He focuses on surpassing customers’ expectations while driving mutually beneficial relationships through data-driven insights and service excellence.

Segun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University and brings over a decade of experience across large-scale agribusiness, research, agricultural extension services, marketing, statistics, and data analysis. Prior to joining Matrix Fertilizer he worked with Lamda Farms and the Fertilizer Producers and Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN).
